Charlotte Higgs, 85

Charlotte Higgs, 85, passed away on March 22, 2026. She was born on April 4, 1940, to Guy and Virginia Adams in Hampton, Virgina. She attended college at Westhampton in Richmond, Virgina, where she met her husband, Wilson Higgs. After Wilson finished medical school and residency, they moved to Kalispell where they have lived since 1973. 

She enjoyed many activities in the Flathead Valley — skiing, hiking, tennis, golf, biking, book clubs, and Bible studies. She was involved in many community organizations, including the Glacier Symphony and Chorale board, First Presbyterian Church session, PEO, and others. Sewing was a favorite hobby, making many of her own clothes and smocking baby dresses for daughters of her friends. Together, she and Wilson were part of several wine tasting groups and gourmet dinner clubs. They enjoyed traveling for many years during their retirement.  

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson. She is survived by her three children, Kathryn, Dave and Steve; and five grandchildren, Erin, Daniel, Matthew, Shaden and Joryn. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
