Easter egg hunt

The Columbia Falls Lions Club 74th annual Easter Egg hunt is at 1 p.m. sharp April 5, Easter Sunday at Marantette Park. There will be more than 4,000 eggs filled with candy and additional prizes as well. Open to ages 2-12.



Free meal in Hungry Horse

The free Canyon Community Dinner at the Canyon Elementary School in Hungry Horse is Thursday March 26 between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m..  This month we are serving a chicken enchiladas bake, Mexican rice, a lovely green salad and churros.  Come early have a cup of coffee and mingle. Little Cat Track

Little Cat track for Columbia Falls youths in grades 1-6 is now open for registration, which is online only at jamieheinz22.wixsite.com/my-site-2.  Registration is from now until April 13. 

No late registrations accepted. Practices are every Wednesdays at the junior high track from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. with a track meet May 13 at the same time. 

Cost is $40 for the first child and $30 each child thereafter. Fee covers shirt, insurance and the supplies for the final track meet. Questions? Call coach Jamie Heinz at (406) 471-4381.



Free meals

The Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will have free meals March 30-31 at 6 p.m. at St. Richard Catholic Church at 1210 9th St. W., Columbia Falls. Nondenominational and everyone is welcome.
