Full caption: Bonners Ferry's Keenan Maas recently committed to continue his football career at Bismarck State College (NAIA) in Bismarck, N.D. The 6-foot-2-inch, 190-pound standout was a primary running back and linebacker for the Badgers across the last two seasons. As a senior, the 2025 4A Intermountain League MVP and 4A All-State First Team honoree produced 1,664 rushing yards (184.9 yards per game; 8.2 yards per carry) to go along with 20 rushing touchdowns. Across the last two seasons, Maas, a two-time All-Intermountain League selection, recorded 2,585 total yards — 2,527 of which were rushing — and scored 27 offensive touchdowns. On defense, the senior registered 89 total tackles, 53 of which were solo and seven of which were for losses, and had two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, a caused fumble, defended seven passes, and returned both an interception and a fumble for a touchdown. Maas will be joining a Mystics program that will begin competition in the NAIA's Frontier Conference in 2027 after a 42-year hiatus from action. "We are absolutely thrilled about all of your tireless efforts and remarkable accomplishments and eagerly look forward to cheering you on at the next level," the Bonners Ferry High football program said in a social media post celebrating Maas' commitment. "You truly embody the spirit of Badger football and make us all extremely proud."
