After a thrashing of Kellogg to start the season, the Bonners Ferry Badgers played four games in one day against Moscow and Grangeville.

It was tough going defensively for the Badgers, who gave up at least ten runs in all three games that were completed. Bonners Ferry now has a 2-3 record to start the season.

Game 1: Moscow 13, Bonners Ferry 9

In the opener against Moscow, which was the first away game of the season for Bonners Ferry, the Badgers collected twelve hits, with Stryder Liermann leading the team with three of them. However, it was not enough in a high-scoring encounter, as Moscow started with the lead and did not look back, winning by four runs.

Game 2: Moscow 22, Bonners Ferry 5

In the second game of their doubleheader, Bonners Ferry lost by 17 runs as Moscow kept scoring. A Jack Woods groundout in the first inning scored the first run for Bonners Ferry, but it was all Moscow from that point on.

Game 3: Grangeville 10, Bonners Ferry 7

Facing Grangeville, a team that won 16 games last season, the Badgers outhit them seven to four. However, it was not enough to get them over the line, with Bonners Ferry losing a close game by three runs. Jack Woods and Kordale Burt led the Badger offense with four hits, equaling the output from Grangeville.

The final game of the day was delayed with Grangeville leading 1-0 in the top of the third inning.

Bonners Ferry plays its next two games against Washington-based teams. On March 26, the Badgers travel to Chattaroy, Washington to face the Riverside Rams. The game after, Bonners Ferry plays at home April 6 versus North Central, who are based in Spokane.
