The Whitefish Theatre Company is holding auditions for the musical “Little Shop of Horrors,” with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, as the final production of its 2025–2026 theatre season.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center. Enter through the north side of the building and arrive early to fill out an audition application and review the audition sides.

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, "Little Shop of Horrors" has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years! Seymour Krelborn is a meek floral assistant who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it BLOOD. Will Seymour be able to keep Audrey II’s appetite whetted, or will this maniacal, musical marigold turn Mushnik’s Flower Shop into its buffet forever!? This succulent mix of rock, romance, and razor-sharp teeth collide in a mouthwatering, theatrical extravaganza that has delighted audiences for years.

The production calls for a dynamic cast of performers of various ages, with opportunities for strong singers, comedic actors and bold character work. All experience levels are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, April 3. Performances run May 21–24, May 28–31, and June 5–6, with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 4 p.m. at the O’Shaughnessy Center.
