A bouquet of beauties of varying ages and heights will take to the runway in a colorful array of spring styles April 11 during the 27th annual Cancer and Community Charities Charity Fashion Show Luncheon at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

This year's signature event for the 3Cs will feature 30 models showcasing fashions from local shops and boutiques.

"Because it's in the spring and we've had a long winter, it's just so nice to see so many friendly faces, and the fashions, of course," Marie Widmyer, owner of Marmalade and Marie's Boutique, said Wednesday morning. "We're looking forward to all the spring pastel colors."

It will be Widmyer's 14th year leading the fashion team for the show. She is co-directing with Tiffani Bartel, who has served as a director for 12 years.

"What keeps me coming back is the joy of watching these women step outside of their comfort zone, try something new and have the time of their lives doing it," Bartel said. "It's so much fun. These ladies are a hoot."

Proceeds from the fashion show support Kootenai County causes and charities through annual grants awarded by the 3Cs, a nonprofit whose members spend the year generating funds and goodwill through various activity groups and events. The organization has given over $2.8 million to local community charities since its inception in 1962.

The 3Cs Charity Fashion Show Luncheon will feature a multitude of items in the silent auction and raffle valued at over $30,000, including tickets for two Holland America cruises with options to visit the Caribbean, Mexico, New England or Canada. Cisco's Gallery has donated a Stephen Shortridge oil painting valued at $6,000, said Laura Chambers, fashion show chair.

"They always donate, but this year they really outdid themselves," she said. "It shows how generous our community is."

The 2026 event marks a change from evening to midday, as it will be the first luncheon held for the show in several years, 3Cs President Judy Gardner said.

"It's been our main moneymaker from the very beginning," she said. "It's a fun event and our main way to earn the money to give away to local nonprofits."

Gardner said she loves the variety of fashions that the models showcase, many of whom are also 3Cs members, "and the fact that you see someone you know walking down the runway."

It's a show for everyone, Garner said.

"The fashions go from sports to formal," she said, "any age and any size, you will find something that you will like."

Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $85 for adults or $40 for children 12 and younger.

Visit 3cscda.com for tickets and details.

Mrs. Idaho American 2025 Meaghan Sheets, left, and Miss Idaho USA 2024 Kaitlyn Widmyer made a special appearance at the 2025 3Cs Fashion Show. This year's 3Cs Charity Fashion Show Luncheon will be on April 11 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m.
