Arreen went to be with our Lord on March 17, 2026. She is at peace with our Lord, Jesus Christ, and her two sons, Doug and Jack.
Born on Oct. 9, 1940, to Anthony and Cecilia Kavon (Hoffarth) in Plentywood, Mont. She was happily raised on the family farm and graduated from Plentywood High School in 1958.
After many moves, she landed in Post Falls, Idaho, in 1971. She bought her first home and raised her family of eight children.
Twenty years after graduating from high school, she attended North Idaho College and in 1978 received a degree in Office Occupations with a 4.0 GPA. She worked for Louisiana Pacific as an Office Manager and when the mill closed its doors, she became a licensed Idaho Real Estate Agent. During her Real Estate years, she was very proud to be a part of the sale and rebuilding of the American Legion. She was also a very active member of the PF Eagle Auxiliary for 35 years. She cooked many meals to raise money for St. Jude's and Shriners. After retiring in 2007, she filled her time cooking for the homeless in the Friendship Kitchen and the Hayden Lake Eagles.
Arreen loved sports, especially football and basketball. The Seattle Seahawks and the Gonzaga Bulldogs were her two favorites. She enjoyed shooting pool and played for many years in the PF Ladies League. She baked and decorated cakes, including her mom and dad’s 50th anniversary cake. She also really enjoyed creating crafts and oil painting.
