Belgrade baseball holds off Polson rally

POLSON — Law Preasmyer knocked in four runs as Belgrade escaped Polson with an 11-9 victory over the Pirates Friday in high school baseball.


Preasmyer finished the 3-for-4 with three doubles for the Panthers. 


Holden Emerson and Noah Agliano drove in a pair of runs each for the Pirates, who cut an 11-6 deficit to 11-9 in the seventh inning. 


Chance Stephens finished off the Pirates late charge, getting Hunter Luedtke to ground into a game ending double play. 


Stephens finished with three hits and two runs allowed in two innings of work on the mound. He struck out four.
