For Carsen Weber, money isn’t the most important measure of success. What matters more is that he’s happy with what he does for a living.
“The importance of family, friendship and working with people you respect is far more important than a paycheck,” he said.
These days, Weber is the shop manager for Northwest Auto Body.
“I was looking for a place to make a difference and found my niche with Northwest Auto Body,” he said.
But Weber began his career in law enforcement, a field that he said taught him how to communicate with people in many different situations. It’s a skill he’s brought with him through career changes and it’s served him well when working with customers, colleagues and employees alike.
“Strong communication and attention to detail are often key when managing a business,” he said.
Weber said he’d like to continue to learn, embracing new technology, building a strong team and overseeing more aspects of the business, including other locations.
“NWAB is on the cutting edge of technology in our industry,” he said. “I see my role as someone who understands the soft skills of dealing with the public while having the curiosity and expertise on the technology side to blend everything together for the best possible outcome. I feel lucky and challenged to work for an industry leader now and I see myself helping our company to be even more prepared for the many opportunities coming with technology.”
