Jim Jackson, a wealth management advisor for US Bancorp Services, began his career working in a credit union, working his way into mergers and special projects.

While onboarding a new credit union into the ecosystem, he got the opportunity to become securities licensed. It was a great next step in his career and for his family.

“Our wealth management practice allows us to continue to serve our clients in a much deeper and enriching way,” Jackson said.

Jackson said his grandfather, who ran a Farmers Insurance office in Hayden for many years, played a big role in his upbringing.

“He always stressed to me the importance of education in achieving your goals and enriching your ability to grow in a changing world,” Jackson said. “I credit him for encouraging me to pursue my goals and earn my bachelors degree.”

His father, Rick, worked long days and made sacrifices so his family could enjoy a better life.

“He showed me the value of hard work and I am so grateful for him,” Jackson said.

In the coming years, Jackson said he envisions his growing family thriving and loving their lives in Coeur d’Alene.

“Working with my clients towards their financial goals is my mission in life and something that brings me so much joy and fulfillment,” he said.
