Game 1: Potlach 12, Bonners Ferry 1

The Potlach Loggers started strong and ended with a flourish, easing their way to a 12-1 win in the first game of a doubleheader against the Bonners Ferry softball team on March 27.

Potlach scored two runs in the first inning, before adding one more in both the second and third innings. Bonners Ferry did score their lone run of the game in the third inning, but it was followed soon after by Potlach scoring eight runs in the fourth and fifth innings to grow their lead.

The game finished after six innings as Bonners Ferry failed to score more than one run on three hits. Potlach were immaculate defensively, not committing a single error. Immediately following, the Badgers and Loggers played the second game of the series.
