Barbara Ann Monheiser

Barbara Ann Monheiser, 73, passed away April 17, 2026 in Surprise, Arizona where she resided for the past three years.
Barbara was a 31-year resident of Libby, Montana. She moved to Libby in 1986. After working for several years at Becks Montana Cafe, she and co-owner Jamie Brebner purchased the business in 1996 until it sold in 2008.
Barbara moved to Virginia City, Nevada and Carson City, Nevada in 2017 to be closer to her son, Matt Monheiser. She clerked at Walmart for five years until moving to Surprise, Arizona in 2023 to be with family.
Barbara is survived by her son, Matt Monheiser and grandson, Jordan James Monheiser of Carson City, Nevada, sisters Linda Leyba of Surprise, Arizona, Nancy Vigil of Evans, Colorado, Alice Anderson of Henderson, Nevada and brother Andy Monheiser of Rolling Hills Estates, California as well as one niece, seven nephews, one grand-niece and one grand-nephew.
She was predeceased by her father, James Monheiser of Libby, Montana and mother, Donna Jean Anderson of Greeley, Colorado.
