Inland Northwest Opera will present “Just Duet” as local and regional singers celebrate some of opera’s famous two-person pieces at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 521 E. Lakeside Ave., Coeur d'Alene.
The free event will also serve as an annual meeting for fans to hear about the upcoming fully staged opera and other plans and to give input on how they would like to see the program grow.
Singers will include: Erik Contzius singing the “Pirate King Song” from "Pirates of Penzance;" Anne LaBella and Esther Kelly performing the “Flower Duet” from "Lakmé" (Delibes); Tyler Wallinger performing “The Call” from "Five Mystical Songs" (Ralph Vaughan Williams); Brian and Jennifer Daniels singing the duet “Saper vorrei se m’ami” by Haydn; and Stefan Gordon performing “Silvio’s Aria” from "Pagliacci."
Refreshments will be served.
