Local author to release next installment of book series

Author Courtney Davis will release the third book in "The Chaotic Conception" series, "Having the Demon’s Baby," on Tuesday.

This paranormal rom-com published by 5 Prince Publishing is a fake-dating workplace romance in which an artificial insemination mixup brings together a human woman and a demon who also happens to be her boss. Fans that enjoyed the classic rom-coms "Jane the Virgin" and "Knocked Up" will enjoy the paranormal twist on Levi and Angie’s story.

Davis is an author residing in North Idaho with her husband and children —teaching, reading, writing and soaking up the sunshine. She loves creating creatures with a new spin and exploring human and inhuman interactions in the modern world. She hopes you find joy and an escape in her writing.

Davis will sign copies of "Having the Demon’s Baby" May 17 at the Meet Cute Market at It’s a Love Story bookstore, 8927 N. Hess St, Hayden, and July 11 at the author fair at Kindred and Co., 851 E. Fourth Ave., Post Falls.
