POLSON — Adrien Cardullo threw five innings and fanned 12 Polson batters as Hamilton took a 9-1 victory Saturday in a high school baseball matchup.

After Hamilton (11-1) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, Cody Haggard doubled to tie the game for the Pirates, sending Liam Jackson home.

That’s all the offense Polson (8-6) would get.

Brady DeMoss and Landon Ekin helped the Broncs break the game open with RBI doubles in a four-run third inning. Cardullo added some insurance on a seventh inning triple.

Haggard threw five innings on the bump for Polson, fanning seven and allowing seven runs on six hits.
