A "Special Forces Apple Brandy" crafted to support and honor veterans will make its debut today.
“This release is deeply meaningful to us,” said Randy Mann, owner at Up North Distillery in Post Falls.
The special release was developed in partnership with the local Special Forces Chapter 43, "helping ensure the spirit authentically reflects the values, dedication and sacrifice of those who have served."
Mann said Special Forces Apple Brandy carries a mission. A portion of every bottle sold will benefit the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls, "helping ensure that local veterans receive the dignity, care and respect they have earned through their service."
To celebrate the launch, guests can visit the distillery today and Sunday for complimentary samples. People are welcome to stop by, raise a glass and contribute to a cause that makes a lasting difference, a press release said.
“We wanted to create something that not only reflects our passion for quality spirits but also gives back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country," Mann said.
Up North Distillery is at 846 N. Boulder Court.
