Someone allegedly texted a woman claiming to be her priest, asking her to buy gift cards for him. She went to the Kalispell Police Department after a Walmart employee informed her that she was a scam, which an officer confirmed. She told officers that she didn’t lose any money because although she went to several locations to buy the gift cards, they were out of the ones the scammer asked for. She was told to block and delete the messages.

A man reportedly followed a woman and her young children around two stores. She noticed he looked like the same man who had followed her a few weeks ago around a store and she took a photo of him when he zigzagged to his vehicle in the parking lot

A neighbor’s contractor reportedly partially blocked an alley all week and yelled at someone to go around, who, in turn, asked police if it was legal to park like that. The contractor allegedly told an officer that he parks that way to load and unload tools. Both told the officer that the other person was aggressive and “verbally abusive.” The contractor was advised to keep the alley clear. Both were told not to engage with each other.
