National Day of Prayer celebration Thursday

National Day of Prayer will be celebrated in Coeur d'Alene on Thursday at McEuen Park.
The event is hosted by the Kootenai County Ministerial Association and will begin at 11:30 a.m. with music and a reading of excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and Preamble to the Constitution.
The official live broadcast will begin at noon. The theme is “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.” It includes prayers, Scripture reading and music.
"Let’s join together as we pray for our community, nation and leaders in observance of the National Day of Prayer," wrote Pastor Paul Van Noy of Candlelight Christian Fellowship.
