Woodward is the right pick for the job

Scott Herndon has been a public nuisance ever since his arrival from CA. His dishonest, unscrupulous, deviant conduct is relisted for public information.

One of the many actions that most exemplifies his character occurred when he shot his neighbor’s dog in 2012. His excuse was he thought that the less than one-year old puppy was a threat to his chickens.

He supports abortion as a felony homicide with no exceptions even in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is in danger. He used his own daughters to hand out literature in parks and schools, saying “the most effective way of getting handbills in people’s hands is to have them handed out by little girls.”

As the BCRCC chairman, he was a major player in supporting extremist Brandon Durst in the West Bonner School district debacle. The result was a Durst recall. On his departure Durst filed an intent to sue the BCSD for $1.2 M. He settled for less, costing the County thousands in settlement fees.

In 2019, he filed two failed lawsuits attempting to force the Festival at Sandpoint to drop its ban on firearms. Those lawsuits again, cost BC taxpayers over $300,000 in legal fees.

As the BCRCC chairman, using out-of-state dollars he published a 20-page Voter Guide for Boundary and Bonner County voters listing his candidates in the North Idaho May Primary. One full page was devoted to distorting and outright lying about Senator Jim Woodwards voting record. Reportedly, none of this was discussed or approved in Boundary County.

Voters deserve better than this dishonest politician. Let’s send Herndon back to building houses, not criticizing public servants doing their best to serve the voters of North Idaho.
