A bit of research on Peachey

Derek Peachey. the new Republican candidate for (HD3), just sent out his first mailer providing almost no biographic information.
Some research: In Texas, he became interested in high tech when he joined a company named Hildago. He moved to California and worked for an AI firm, July Systems, that had offices in both California and India.
Then he joined Nokia, a leader in the AI movement. Their website states that AI will create good paying jobs--but adds ominously that "significant sector specific disruptions" are expected to occur--not specifying what types of jobs will be replaced.
Peachey's campaign website states that he is, "Rooted in the traditions that define Montana.”
Since he has only lived in Montana a few short years, I wonder how deep his Montana roots are. What could Texas, California and India teach him about Montana values?.
Praying at the altar of Al has made him a very wealthy man--but I doubt it taught him much about Montana values.
As the manager of a new capitol venture investment firm, he's creating more AI startup firms.
In interviews--he never discusses the cost to local taxpayers for funding the power needed to run these data centers.
Montana is known as a fence out state--so it's telling that when he moved here he chose to live in a gated community, Iron Horse.
He says his #1 issue is property taxes. The market value of his house is $2,454,456 for which he pays over $13,700 a years in property taxes. Until now I can't find anything that he's done to help lower property taxes.
Peachey represents a dangerous trend in politics where tech executives who cash in big time at the expense of working people all of a sudden want to run for office.
Ego I guess!
