Carol Lyn Quesnell, 68, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home May 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born July 30, 1957, in Sun Valley, Idaho, to Jack and Arvilla Gott. She grew up with a strong sense of family that remained at the center of her life.
She graduated from Juan’s School of Hair Design and went on to build a remarkable career as a hairstylist, owning and operating her own beauty salon for 40 years. Through her work, Carol touched countless lives, forming lasting friendships with those who sat in her chair.
Carol was known for her warm heart and her love of bringing people together. She found great joy in cooking and baking, and her sugar cookies became a cherished tradition for family and friends. She treasured time with her grandchildren, hosted many memorable family gatherings and enjoyed trips to the casino, where she loved playing her favorite slot machines and the occasional scratch ticket.
Above all, Carol’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Wade Quesnell; her sons, Chad (Angie) Quesnell and Gregory (Dina) Quesnell; and her cherished grandchildren, Landen, Morgan, Ha’ane and Camden Quesnell. She is also survived by her sisters, Beth Gott and Jackie Boyd; and her brothers, Mike (Dee Dee) Gott, Dan (Josie) Gott, Dennis Gott and Tim (Kory) Gott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Arvilla Gott, and her sister, Barb Gott.
Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her strength and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at English Funeral Chapel Post Falls, followed by a funeral service Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Post Falls Baptist Church, 1608 N. Spokane St., which is directly south of the English Funeral Chapel Post Falls.
