Police Calls: Eating jerky, talking to himself, suspicious

April 18 

A man who was handing out paperwork and yelling at people as they came and went was advised to stay off property and not be disorderly.

After 1 p.m., the caller was concerned about a dog who had been in a parked car since 7 a.m. 

A male on a motorized bike was riding in a park. 

A house party was reported on Colorado Avenue, but upon investigation, no signs of a party were seen or heard. 

The driver of a dark colored hatchback is causing an ongoing issue on Brimstone Drive, as he parks at the edge of the neighborhood, follows cars closely and makes people feel uncomfortable. 


April 19 

The caller needed help after locking his keys in his running truck 

A driver who seemed “out of sorts” hit the caller’s vehicle. 

Two juveniles were climbing on a roof at City Beach and were counseled on their behavior. 

A man with lots of blankets was seen rolling around on the grass on the side of Highway 93. 

A male flagged down an officer on Central Avenue just to say hi. 


April 20 

The caller thought the man seen eating a Slim Jim and talking to himself on Spokane Avenue needed help. The man was found to be fine. 

The caller reported a male with a sleeping bag was acting weird but he couldn’t say how he was acting weird. 


April 21 

Reportedly, one black and one white dog were running through the park on West Seventh Street. People were told to keep a distance from the dogs because they are aggressive. Police were making contact with the owner.
