Tennis splits with Polson

The Columbia Falls girls tennis team had a good showing against Polson last week, but the boys struggled a bit.

Ashlyn Dunham and Campbell LaCasse picked up wins in the singles and Ava Scholz and Fiona Bryant along with Khloe Perry and Kristina Tamburelli picked up wins in doubles.

Pablo Perles got the lone win for the Wildcats in boys singles.



Columbia Falls girls 4, Polson 3

SINGLES — Lemm, Polson def. Def. Ella Heppner 6-0, 6-0; Smith, Polson def. Bailey Windauer 6-1, 6-0; Ashlyn Dunham, Columbia Falls def. Beiber 7-5, 7-5; Campbell LaCasse, Columbia Falls def. Schroeder 6-4, 0-6, 6-1. 

DOUBLES — Moss and Lund, Polson def. Alanis Petersen and Madi Yerian 7-6, (7-4), 6-1; Ava Scholz and Fiona Bryant, Columbia Falls def. Grainey and Henriksen 6-3, 3-6, 6-4; Khloe Perry and Kristina Tamburelli, Columbia Falls def. Bird and Kinaman 3-6, 6-4, 10-5. 



Polson boys 6, Columbia Falls 1

SINGLES — Ruger Ellis, Polson def. William Oberholtzer 6-1, 6-1; Bird, Polson def. Jack Austin via injury default; Pablo Perles, Columbia Falls def. Brown 7-5, 5-7, 6-1; Kline, Polson def. Scout Love 7-6, 3-6, 10-8.
