Jazz dance class performs

An end-of-semester student showcase featuring participants from Flathead Valley Community College's Intro to Jazz dance class is May 7 at 7 p.m.

The evening of dance takes place in the Joe Legate Black Box Theatre upstairs of the Arts & Technology Building.

The class introduces students to basic strengthening and stretching exercises while exploring the stylistic characteristics of jazz dance. The showcase highlights what students have learned throughout the course, bringing rhythm and performance together on stage.

The event is free and open to the public.
