Murder Mystery a Fundraiser to Die For — 6-9 p.m., May 8 at the new Western Montana Transit building on Hwy. 93 in Ronan; enjoy the clues, secrets and unanswered questions behind the mystery and help Area 6 Agency on Aging fundraise to continue providing the level of service and care they provide. Plant and Seed Exchange — 10 a.m.-2 p.m., May 9 at the North Lake County Public Library; bring a plant and exchange a plant. There is no obligation to trade if you’d like to contribute a plant. The library also hosts "Seed of the Month – Tomatoes," at 11 a.m. with planting tips, recipes, and the opportunity to take home seeds.

Book Donation Day – 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 12 at the North Lake County Library in Polson; the library staff asks donors to check the website for guidelines and only bring what they can get into the building by themselves.

After Tax Shred Day — 9 a.m., May 15 at Glacier Bank in Polson; Glacier Bank and Western Montana Area 6 Agency on Aging are coming together to help prevent identity theft. The Mobile Shred Truck will be on site. 

Friends of the Library Book Sale – 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 15 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16 at the Polson Library; Shoppers can browse a large selection of recently donated books and media. All items are gently used and priced to sell. Proceeds support the library’s educational programs, resources, and services.

Pearlapalooza – May 16 at the Pearl Theater on Main Street in Ronan; celebrate the grand re-opening of the former Entertainer Theater – transformed by the Western Montana Musician's Co-op into a performance space. E-Waste Recycling Event – May 16 at Lake County Transfer Station on Reservoir Road, south of Polson; the first 300 pounds of electronic waste may be disposed of for free.
