Peggy Christopherson, 75

Peggy Christopherson, 75, of Coeur d'Alene, passed away May 1, 2026. Born on July 12, 1950, in La Junta, Colo. 

She graduated from Holyoke High School in Colorado with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Care Administration in Texas. Later, after her children were raised, she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in Ohio.

Her family and friends describe her as being a kind, compassionate and loving mother, wife, sister and friend. She carried herself with poise and exhibited a classy, calm presence. She was a gentle, beautiful soul inside and out.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 15 years, Herb Christopherson; her children: Andrew Turner, Bryan Turner, Cameron Turner; Ron Turner, the father of her children; daughters-in-law Leighann and Julie; her grandchildren: Charles, Ciel, Eden and Christian; her siblings, Gary Hopkins (Joyce) and Janet Beary.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home — Hayden Chapel, 373 E. Hayden Ave., Hayden, Idaho. Funeral service will be May 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Hayden Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12940 N. Government Way, Hayden, Idaho.
