PREP TENNIS: Sandpoint settles for draw with Coeur d’Alene

SANDPOINT — Pepper Rickert won in straight sets at No. 1 girls singles, Caden Martz and Tanner Western did much of the same at No. 1 boys doubles, and the Bulldogs settled for their fifth tie of the season during a 6A/5A Inland Empire League matchup against the Vikings held Tuesday at the James E. Russell Center.
McCoy Jensen and Louie Reale completed the sweep at No. 2 boys doubles and Morgan Harris and Veronica Kramer grabbed a two-set win at No. 2 girls doubles for Sandpoint (6-2-5), which will head to the Lewiston Country Club on Friday and Saturday for the 5A District 1-2 Championship.
