NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING, INVESTIGATION, AND LAB SERVICES. The City of Libby is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified geotechnical engineering firms for a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and analysis services for the Lower Flower Creek Reservoir Embankment Disaster Recovery (DR) Project for which the City of Libby is receiving state and federal disaster assistance funding. Minimum requirements include previous experience in drilling, in-situ testing, laboratory analysis, and preparation of geotechnical engineering reports for dam or embankment projects. The lead Geotechnical Engineer shall be a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Montana with demonstrated experience in dam embankment investigation and evaluation. The selection of the successful firm(s) will be based on an evaluation of the written responses and an interview if the City deems the latter is necessary. The award will be made to the most qualified firm whose submittal is deemed most advantageous to the City, all factors considered. Unsuccessful offerors will be notified as soon as possible. PUBLIC NOTICE FOR DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS May 5, 2025 Attention Parents/Guardians, Former Students, Eligible (Adult) Students: According to school board policy, Troy Public Schools hereby gives notice that Special Education records are no longer needed to provide educational services to individuals with disabilities who were enrolled in the district as a student for the 2020/2021 school year and have since left the district. The district will destroy these Special Education records (by shredding them) in 45 days. Destruction of these records is the best protection against improper and unauthorized disclosure. Please be aware that if you have Special Education records on file with the school district, these records may be needed for social security benefits or for other purposes in the future. If you wish to review the file or keep the file for your own records, please make the request to the Special Services office within 45 calendar days. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATION BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF MONTANA In re NW Services, LLC’s Application for Class D Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity Docket 2026.01.011 May 6, 2026 Notice of Public Hearing 1. On February 9, 2026, NW Services, LLC (“NW Services”) submitted its finalized Application for Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity with the Montana Public Service Commission (“Commission”). In its Application, NW Services requests to provide roll-off dumpster services for construction and residential waste between all points and places within Flathead County. Evergreen Disposal, Inc., L&L Site Services, Inc. d/b/a Grizzly Disposal & Recycling, and Allied Waste Services of North America, LLC d/b/a Republic Services of Montana all protested NW Services’ Application and are all parties in this proceeding. 2. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on the Application. The public hearing will commence on May 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the North Fork Meeting Room at the Hampton Inn, 1140 Highway 2 West, Kalispell, Montana, and continue day-to-day as necessary through 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026. The Commission’s website (psc.mt.gov/livestream) will have a link to a live stream of the hearing. 3. The hearing is for the purpose of receiving evidence (testimony and exhibits) addressing NW Services’ Application. Testimony will be subject to crossexamination.
