Joan E. Clough, 82

Joan Elaine (Heisel) Clough, 82, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully from dementia complications on April 13, 2026, in Kalispell. 

She was born in Gatesville, Texas on Sept. 20, 1943, and grew up in western Montana spending many years in Libby. 

After retiring from the Lincoln County Court House, she pursued her passion for quilting and volunteering at the Library and Community Thrift Store. 

She will be remembered for her giving and gentle spirit.  

Joan is survived by her two children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, George.

A joint celebration of George and Joan's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the Libby City Cemetery in Libby. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
