On July 28, 2025 our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend - Mary Nancy Grace (Robinson) Erhard known by all as Nancy, completed her journey here with us.

She was born July 6, 1936, in Sweet Grass Montana to Ruth and Willis Robinson.

She married John Allen Erhard in Havre, Montana Sept. 17, 1958. Together they raised five kids on a farm/ranch outside of Havre. Jackie Jean Schaffer (Jim Schaffer) Colstrip Montana, Douglas Allen Erhard (Shelly Erhard) Havre Montana, Sherrie Lynn Myers (Greg Myers) Coon Rapids Minnesota, John George Erhard (Amy Patrick) Great Falls Montana, and Rory Jay Erhard (Dawna Brinkel) Bozeman, Montana.

Nancy and John’s five children gave them 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and the numbers keep increasing with latest great-grandchild born in May 12, 2026.

More than anything Nancy loved having kids around. Nothing made her happier than a house full of children’s laughter. When her own kids were grown up and out of the house she couldn’t wait for grandkids to come visit or she would watch neighbor kids and they adapted her as a grandma.

Nancy enjoyed singing. She would travel with a singing group from the local Eagles lodge. She would always sing to the kids as she rocked them to sleep. Nancy loved to travel, decorate the house, sew, quilt and play cards. It wasn’t uncommon to stay up playing pinochle until early morning hours in Nancy’s house. She loved bingo night at Happy’s Inn with her friends….she bragged of many nights coming home with her winnings of $5.

A celebration of Nancy’s antics, humor and love of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the community room of the Fisher River Valley Fire Hall (on U.S. 2 across from Happy's Inn) with food to follow. Please bring a story to share.
