MOSCOW — Idaho football coach Thomas Ford Jr. announced the signing of Daemon Fagan, a 6-foot-3 safety from N.C. State in time for summer training and fall camp.

Fagan spent his first two collegiate seasons at N.C. State, where he redshirted his first year and appeared in one game in 2025, recording a tackle in a win over Campbell.

Prior to his time in Raleigh, Fagan played at American Heritage High in Florida, starring in the secondary for the Patriots for three seasons. As a senior, he racked up 78 tackles, three interceptions, 11 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. He helped American Heritage win the 5A state championship as a sophomore.

A consensus four-star prospect, Fagan was ranked as high as the No. 13 safety in the country and the No. 38 player in Florida.
