What do you see as the primary responsibilities of a precinct committeeman, and why are you interested in serving in this position?  

Reach out to fellow voters; remind them about candidates or ballot measures as Election Day comes up; choose and support leadership such as electing party officers or selecting nominees when a public elected official of my party passes away or resigns; and represent my constituents at county and legislative district party meetings.  

Fulfilling these duties gives my precinct a voice and brings values and ideas to the table.  

How would you work to engage voters, support party organization, and represent your precinct’s concerns at the county or district level

Like a 2-way street, I must engage neighbors, looking for praise about community, but also prayer-requests to maintain and improve our great family.  

The goal in electing or appointing public servants is to keep our community safe & inclusive: As change is inevitable but also bound by our vision, while issues emerge here like snow melt or like a shock-wave coming from elsewhere; & by opening up to everyone here, while also ensuring the marginalized can engage our democratic system.  

I should know, as Patriot, Voter, Worker, Volunteer, Taxpayer, Homeowner, Wheelchair-user, Wounded-Injured-Disabled Military Veteran, US Army, OEF Campaign, Medevaced, 3rd-generation Idahoan, Latino/Mixtec-descent, SAR-heritage, past-Teamster, Churchgoer, VFW & American Legion member, Freemason, Elks, & lived experience with Cancer.
