Full Name: Patrice Pfeiffer

Age: 69

Political Affiliation: Republican

Precinct: Calder

What do you see as the primary responsibilities of a Precinct Committeeman and why are you interested in serving in this position?

The primary responsibilities are, first of all, to elect qualified Republicans to office to promote the principles of the Republican Party, second, to share with my community which candidates adhere to these principles, and third, to be a liaison between my community and the Republican Party. The Precinct Committeemen represent the Shoshone County Republican Central Committee (SCRCC) to the voters in their district, and are the first and most accessible GOP contact, the link between the Party and the people. I am interested in serving in this position because I care deeply about our Constitutional Republic and want to share the values of the Republican Party with my community. Government accountability, protecting the family, educational freedom, state's rights, Second Amendment rights, and pro-life values are some of these beliefs, and I am able to inform my community which candidates adhere to these same principles.

How would you work to engage voters, support party organization, and represents your precinct's concerns at the County or district level?

The best way to engage voters is to get out there and talk to the members of my community. Going door-to-door before the elections, handing out literature, sharing information about each candidate, explaining each candidate's qualifications and values, and encouraging them to vote are some of the ways to involve my community. By attending the SCRCC meetings I am supporting my precinct by sharing their questions and concerns with the Committee. I have resided in Calder for almost 30 years, and have been the Precinct Committeeman for the past 2 years. I enjoy engaging my community in this important cause.
