Surrounded by her family with hearts full of love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Brenda Marlene Haupert (Sweeney) 86 on April 13, 2026.

Born on December 3, 1939, to Roger and Chrystine Sweeney in Winchendon, Massachusetts.

Brenda met John Haupert, married in 1979, moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, where she worked as a jewelry specialist in independent sales at Black Hills Gold Co.

They retired and moved to Sagle, Idaho, in 1995. Brenda volunteered for years at the Sagle thrift store and attended the Sagle Senior Center. She also was a member at the New Song Bible Church.

Brenda built her life centered around her six children and families. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved traveling, going to weddings, birthdays and graduations of each and everyone.

Her hobbies were stamp up, scrapbooking, antique shops and going to bingo. Most of all she loved when the great-grandkids would come to visit with open arms and hugs. She always had her big yellow Happy Face cookie jar filled for those special occasions.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Cheri Belgarde (Gale Sr.), Patty Triplett (Jeff), Stacey Snyder (Charlie), and Suzanne Bonner; her son, Dan Bonner; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sisters, Sandy Malley, Roseanne Lee and Marilyn Sweeney Monsen; a brother, Roger Sweeney; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; daughter, Kathy; granddaughter, Danielle; and great-granddaughter, Emma.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2026, at the Sagle Senior Center.

Family and friends are invited to sign Brenda's online guest book at coffeltfuneral.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
