Eureka drops 2 to Ennis; Libby sweeps Browning

EUREKA — Ruby Boggus collected three hits and Ennis bested Eureka 14-4 in a softball doubleheader Saturday.
Ennis (16-4) scored four runs in each of the first two innings. Mykala Matson finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Addi Rowe doubled twice and drove in a run.
Eureka (4-14) got hits from Tessa Sieler, Marley Neesvig, Evie Holm and Leah Tkachyk. Lily McAfee and Dakota Witham each drove in a run for the Lions.
Adi Wood earned the win for Ennis, allowing four runs over five innings while striking out five. Autumn Thomas worked three innings in relief for Lincoln County and struck out three.
Ennis 8, Eureka 7
Lily McAfee blasted a three-run homer and drove in four runs, but Eureka fell just short in its second game with the Mustangs.
Ennis pushed across three runs in the seventh inning to break a 5-5 tie. Ruby Boggus delivered the key hit with a two-run double, while the Mustangs also capitalized on a pair of Eureka errors.
The Lions answered with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and stayed within striking distance late behind McAfee and Dakota Witham, who each collected two hits. Evie Holm added a hit and drew two walks for the Lions.
Boggus went 3-for-5 with two RBIs to lead Ennis, while Mykala Matson and Emmylou Edge each added two hits. Adi Wood earned the win and Cienna Huyser picked up the save in relief for the Mustangs.

LIBBY — Leah Rusdal tripled and drove in two runs as Libby won the opener against Browning, and Carmen Kohler colleced three doubles in the nightcap.
Libby (11-4) broke the game open with seven runs in the second inning after scoring five in the first. Weslee MacDonald added a two-run triple and Dakota Allen tripled home another run for the Loggers.
Rusdal finished with two hits, while Macy Foss, Maddie Willis and MacDonald each drove in two runs. MacDonald earned the win in the circle and combined with Willis on a no-hitter.
Kohler, Settera McGreevy-White and Macy Foss combined for nine hits and nine RBIs for the Loggers, who scored seven runs in both the first and second innings. McGreevy-White and Foss each collected three hits, while Addisyn Gassett and Jayva Boehmler added two hits apiece.

THREE FORKS — Haylee Smith homered and drove in three runs as Three Forks defeated the Lady Trojans in the opener of a doubleheader.
Then Kameryn Rios went 4-for-5 with four RBIs as the Wolves outlasted Eureka 18-13 to complete the sweep.
Three Forks (14-5) broke the first game open with 10 runs in the second inning behind 11 hits. Kinley Feliciano hit a three-run homer and Rios finished with multiple hits and two RBIs.
In the second game Troy (11-9) got two hits from Addyson Fisher; Kirsti Jellesed and Ellie Borgmann each drove in a run. The Lady Trojans took an 11-10 lead in the fifth inning, but Three Forks answered with a big sixth inning.
Nova Ervin delivered a two-run triple during Troy’s rally, while Kinley Feliciano and Makenna Ewan each added RBI hits. The Trojans piled up 12 hits.
