SANDPOINT — Raffle prizes, bottomless mimosas, brunch and fashion were just a few highlights of Barrel 33 and Bella Terra Boutique’s Mother’s Day Brunch and Fashion Show.
Of course, it was the moms who stole the show.
The event, which aimed to highlight mothers throughout the area, was co-created by Bella Terra Boutique and Barrel 33. It drew a crowd of about 30 mothers and their children, who dressed up for a celebratory brunch honoring moms “because they deserve a little extra this year,” Barrel 33 manager Kylie Schaefer said.
As a first-time event, the Mother’s Day Brunch & Fashion Show hosted by Bella Terra and Barrel 33 was a tremendous success, Schaefer said.
"The event brought together dozens of local mothers and daughters who participated in the fashion show, creating a fun and memorable community celebration,” she added.
Mothers gathered for brunch and drinks at Barrel 33 while enjoying the lively atmosphere of a runway experience featuring Bella Terra Boutique’s newest collection of summertime apparel.
“The special event invites you to slow down, connect and celebrate the women who mean the most,” Bella Terra officials said.
Throughout the morning, guests laughed, took photos together, and celebrated with one another, showcasing the event’s true purpose — providing an opportunity for friends, daughters and fellow community members to celebrate motherhood.
Along with the fashion show and brunch, attendees had the opportunity to win a variety of raffle prizes, from Barrel 33 wine glasses, coupons for Bella Terra Boutique, floral arrangements by Sandpoint Floral Design, to free permanent jewelry, among many other prizes.
The event served as an early Mother’s Day celebration centered around connection, community and appreciation for moms throughout the Sandpoint area.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community, our amazing models, and every single person who came out to celebrate with us," Schaefer said. "Watching everyone come together in such a beautiful atmosphere made this event more meaningful than we could have imagined."
