LEVY ELECTION NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the SELKIRK RECREATION DISTRICT the following ballot question: Shall the Selkirk Recreation District be authorized to permanently increase its property tax budget base beginning in fiscal year 2027 pursuant to Idaho Code § 63-802(1)(h) to allow the District to collect $700,000.00 in property tax revenues in fiscal year 2027, for the purpose of funding snow plowing, road and trail maintenance, shuttle services, and general maintenance and operations? The cost to the taxpayer will be an increase of $33 per $100,000 of taxable value to bring the total to $60 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value per year based on current conditions. If approved, the increase shall be permanent and shall be included in the District’s property tax budget base for purposes of calculating future annual budget limitations under Idaho Code § 63-802.
