Full caption: Sandpoint's Mason Little recently committed to continue his baseball career at Clark College (NWAC) in Vancouver, Wash. A 2025 All-Inland Empire League pick and the league's Newcomer of the Year in 2024, the standout senior holds a .364 lifetime batting average (80-for-220) and .480 on-base percentage to go along with 18 doubles, two triples, a home run, 70 runs scored, 30 stolen bases, 47 walks and 48 RBIs. On the mound, he's struck out 20 batters over 17 innings of work dating back to his freshman season. During his senior season, he's batting a career-best .400 (30-for-75) and boasts a career-best .521 on-base percentage, which includes 23 RBIs, seven doubles, 19 stolen bases and 36 runs scored across 94 plate appearances to date. On defense, he holds a lifetime .905 fielding percentage that includes 86 putouts, 134 assists and 18 double plays across 74 games played. "Mason's been a key piece to what we're building here at Sandpoint High School," Sandpoint High head coach Jesse Dunham said. "He shows up to practice, works hard, and puts together great at-bats every single time that he's needed to... he's going to fit into a defense anywhere they put him and will do just fine. I've trusted him all year, and he's produced."
