Wildcats baseball bests Browning

COLUMBIA FALLS — Jett Pitts drove in five runs and Columbia Falls erupted early in a 25-4 victory over Browning in Northwest A baseball on Monday evening.
The Wildcats (11-4) pushed across 11 runs in the first inning before adding 14 more in the second during a three-inning win. Pitts finished 3-for-4 with RBI singles in both innings during the offensive surge.
Lincoln Fisher tripled and drove in two runs for Columbia Falls, while Wyatt Dodson added three RBIs and Jaxson Cadwell finished with two hits and two RBIs. Nico Young also collected two hits as the Wildcats piled up 15 hits and stole five bases.
Dodson earned the win on the mound, striking out three in a scoreless first inning. Jory Hill and Cadwell combined to finish the final two innings, allowing one hit while striking out six.
Matthew Augare, Kealin Moosewah, Kayne Burke and Keshawn Michell each drove in a run for Browning (0-11). Alan ArrowTopKnot recorded the Indians’ lone hit.
