NO. 2871 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The City of Whitefish Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: A permit request by City of Whitefish for a floodplain development permit to reconstruct approximately 150 feet of the existing asphalt path along the Whitefish River. The current path is heaving and cracking, and the project proposes to excavate and rebuild this section with improved drainage and a gravel and geogrid base to address slope stability. Disturbed areas, including approximately 238 square feet of vegetation, will be replanted with native vegetation and hydroseeded to restore bank stability. The project will occur on unaddressed park land east of Clear Water Drive in Whitefish, MT and can be legally described as Rivers Edge Whitefish Ave & Park, Rivers Edge in Section 1, Township 30N, Range 22W, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana.
