Habitat for Humanity seeking bids to landscape Railroad Field Park

Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley announces the receipt of a $7,000 Community Grant from the Whitefish Community Foundation. The grant is for the landscaping of the open space in Railroad Field, Habitat Flathead’s new neighborhood of six homes in Columbia Falls. The neighborhood is situated on Railroad Street East and Fourth Avenue EN. The open space faces Railroad Street, a street with steady traffic, and the landscaping will be highly visible. 

Habitat Flathead is requesting proposals from local nurseries and landscaping companies to design and plant the trees and shrubs in this new neighborhood. Proposals should include an illustration of the landscape plan, list of plants, timeline and budget. Habitat Flathead would like to receive all proposals by June 30.
