Jeff Taberner, 63, of Rathdrum, Idaho, passed away peacefully May 7, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved deeply. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Joseph and Shirley Taberner.

Jeff was a faithful Christian man who lived with integrity, generosity and a deep love for people. He treated everyone like an old friend and made people feel at home. For 43 years, he was a devoted husband to his wife, Sherri, and a loving father to Candace and Joe. One of his greatest joys was being a grandfather to his beloved “girls,” Maddison, Olivia and Maeve.

Jeff spent more than 20 years working in aviation, where he was respected for his incredible work ethic, leadership and dedication. He took great pride in his work and in creating opportunities for others.

More than anything, Jeff will be remembered for the way he loved — faithfully, wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. May 16, 2026, at Real Life Ministries Building 2, 1860 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls, ID 83854. All are welcome.
