Nyssa Jones, 94

Nyssa Jones passed away on Dec. 15, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1931.

Nyssa lived in Polson, where she raised her nine children, before moving to Columbia Falls, where she worked until her retirement. She later moved to Whitefish, where she resided until her passing.

She is survived by her nine children, seven boys and two girls, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Jones. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Nyssa was loved by many. 

A graveside service will be held on May 23 at 1 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

A gathering with food and stories celebrating Nyssa’s life will follow at the Senior Center on Nucleus Avenue in Columbia Falls.
