Police Calls: Backpack cooler overflows in park

April 30

A blue Tesla was parked in a lot for over 36 hours. The owner was asked to move the vehicle, or it would be towed. 

An intoxicated male was screaming from inside a black minivan. The caller was concerned the man was too intoxicated to drive. He was escorted off the property and allowed to pick up his vehicle later. 

A male was being disorderly. He was found behind a store with his pants down and was counseled on his behavior. 

A male was leaning against a bridge, drinking cans of beer and talking to himself. Later, he passed out on someone’s lawn and refused to leave.  

The neighbor on Karrow Avenue was reportedly playing loud music. 

There is an apparent ongoing issue on Cedar Street with a dog owner who allows a dog to bark at night. This night, the owner brought the dog indoors. 

May 1 

A caller requested clarification of the law regarding early morning noise. No construction trucks on Colorado Avenue were found to be running, but they were reminded they cannot begin until 7 a.m. 

A garden on Baker Avenue was vandalized overnight. Nothing was damaged or stolen, just moved around. 

A silver Subaru had been parked at a location on Highway 93 for over a year. 

The orange ballcap-wearing driver of a blue pickup was reportedly tailgating the caller, honking and flipping her off.  

A large backpack with beer cans falling out of it was found on a bench in Depot Park. 

A tall, white male in a baseball hat was seen punching the caller's vehicle mirror after stepping into the road in front of the caller.
