After-Tax Shred Day — 9 a.m., May 15 at Glacier Bank in Polson; Glacier Bank and Western Montana Area 6 Agency on Aging are coming together to help prevent identity theft. The Mobile Shred Truck will be on site. 

Ladies Night Out – 5-8 p.m. May 15 in downtown Polson; check out spring offerings during the monthly event.

Friends of the Library Book Sale — 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 15 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 16 at the Polson Library; Shoppers can browse a large selection of recently donated books and media. All items are gently used and priced to sell. Proceeds support the library’s educational programs, resources, and services.

Pearlapalooza — May 16 at the Pearl Theater on Main Street in Ronan; celebrate the grand re-opening of the former Entertainer Theater – transformed by the Western Montana Musician's Co-op into a performance space. Armed Forces Day — 7 p.m., May 16 at Miracle of America Museum; This free special event sponsored by the Montana 250 Commission to celebrate 250 years of American veterans, their sacrifice and service. Come remember those who have helped preserve our nation since 1776. 

E-Waste Recycling Event — May 16 at Lake County Transfer Station on Reservoir Road, south of Polson; the first 300 pounds of electronic waste may be disposed of for free.

Mission Valley Live: "Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life" – 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 20 at North Lake County Public Library in Polson; when faced with a battle with a deadly form of cancer, writer and performer Keith Alessi's musical pursuit became the key to saving his life. He tells his story through authentic storytelling, heartfelt humor and music. Admission is free but seating is limited. Sop by the Polson Library to pick a ticket(s).

Women 4 Wellness – 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 21 at the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo; annual event focuses on health education and disease prevention by offering free or low-cost health screenings and information designed specifically for women.
