Ronan Seniors: Cards and pool available

Here’s hoping that everyone is enjoying the nice weather and had a very
enjoyable Mother’s Day with your family. 

We play cards every Monday afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan, and the pool table is in use starting at 9 a.m. Come join the fun.

Our Sunday dinner of pork roast and all the trimmings will start up on June 14 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Enjoy the good food and company. We still celebrate all the monthly birthdays on the last Friday of each month.

Since Lake County Council on Aging now has their new building on Hwy. 93, we do have office space for rent in the back of the senior center. If you are interested in renting, see Lacy, our site manager.

We have started selling assorted jewelry and craft items for different people and also we have a very talented lady who is willing to give lessons on working with
driftwood. If you are interested, come to the center and see what she is offering.

The menu for this week is as follows: May 13, chicken ala king; May 15, Swedish meatballs; May 18, French dip; and May 20, Chinese buffet.
