The Sandpoint Strikers U10 girls posted a 3-1 record on their way to capturing second place in the Silver Bracket at the 35th Annual Bill Eisenwinter HOTSHOT Tournament, hosted by Sting Soccer Club of Coeur d'Alene May 8-10 throughout the Greater Coeur d'Alene and Spokane Areas. The girls, playing at the Plante's Ferry Sports Complex in Spokane, beat Kittitas Valley Junior Soccer Association (2-1), Missoula Surf (12-0) and Spokane Legacy Soccer Academy (13-2) before coming up just short of 90+ Project of Spokane (6-3) in a hard-fought championship game.
