The Whitefish Sustainable Tourism Management Plan committee invites the community to a town hall on Tuesday, May 19 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Whitefish City Hall.

The town hall will explore the balance of tourism, the local economy, and community life, with presentations, data insights, and a conversation among local business leaders.

Explore Whitefish Executive Director Zak Anderson will present a tourism overview, and Sales and Marketing Director Matt Gebo will discuss the latest updates for Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Glacier National Park Superintendent Dave Roemer and Glacier Park International Airport Manager Rob Raitkowski will be the featured guest speakers, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The committee will also launch a new survey for the community to share its views on visitation, its positive and negative impacts, and community livability.

The Sustainable Tourism Management Plan is designed to help guide visitation in a way that supports both economic vitality and community well-being. The plan is built around three key pillars: community character, livability and engagement.
