Vinson Charles “Vince” Jennison, age 63 of Polson, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. He was born April 30, 1962, in Polson to Doug and Marilyn (Lowe) Jennison.

Vince was raised in the Polson area with his younger brother, Monte, and his lifelong best friend, Ernie Wiggin. He attended school in Polson.

After high school, he joined the Army National Guard for 14 years until he received his honorable discharge as an E-6. He then went to work for Boeing in Seattle, where his career as an airplane mechanic began.

He met his wife Sue Gebhardt in 1983, and they had three sons, Jake, Justin and Jeff Jennison. Upon returning to Montana, he continued his airplane career for the rest of his life – running both the Polson and Ronan airports.

He loved airplanes, and his hunting camp in the Swan was filled with friends and family where they made many memories. For the last six years, he enjoyed going to Bouse, Ariz., during the winter months where he also worked as an airplane mechanic.

Vince was a very selfless person who would help anyone at any time in any way he could. He was the best friend, father and grandfather anybody could ever have.

He was such a good man. He has left many good impressions and memories for all who knew him. The world has lost a golden heart, but heaven has received an incredible angel. We love you Dad/Grandpa Vince.

Vince was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Mabel Jennison and Leland and Irene Lowe, and his father, Doug Jennison.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; his three sons, Jake (Elaina), Justin and Jeff (Erika); his grandchildren, Kaylee (Briar), Brynlee, Joey, Sequoia and Aspen; his mother, Marilyn; his brother Monte (Mary); and nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and his faithful dog, Puppy-Puppy.

There are no services planned at this time for Vince. Memories and condolences may be sent to the family at lakefuneralhomeandcremation.com.

Arrangements are under the care of The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory.
