Troy Junior/Senior High School will hosts its annual student art show and sale in the high school gym Monday.

It begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m.

"This show is sponsored and run by the Troy High School art club and this year will include creative student works from many sources, not just the art and pottery classes," Troy art teacher Jeanie Palmer said.

There is no cost for admission, but there will be numerous items for sale.

This year’s show features four senior shows by Jenika Meyer, Brooke Place, Salix Harris and Mellissa Laffoon. They will showcase works from their entire school career.

Also, junior high and high school art classes, photography class, textiles and several other classes with creative student products will be displaying their work.

New this year is elementary school student art. There will also be pottery, wood shop, metals, forging and carpentry projects that will be shown and available for sale.

In addition, the carpentry class will be selling sheds via silent auction. Bids are accepted during the two hours of the art show only!
